This class explores the 'Witch Wound' (and fear of persecution) many healer/practitioners/spiritual teachers carry and how we can use sacred art to start healing and transforming that wound.

This class returns to material we explored in Class #1 Honouring Our Ancestors Through Our Art (the recording remains available) but instead focusses on our relationship to expressions of Self from previous incarnations.

Imelda Almqvist is an international teacher of Sacred Art and Seidr/Old Norse Traditions (the ancestral wisdom teachings of Northern Europe). She has published three books: Natural Born Shamans: A Spiritual Toolkit for Life (Using shamanism creatively with young people of all ages) in 2016, Sacred Art: A Hollow Bone for Spirit (Where Art Meets Shamanism) in 2019 and Medicine of the Imagination - Dwelling in possibility (an impassioned plea for fearless imagination) in 2020. She has presented her work on both The Shift Network and Sounds True. She appears in a TV program, titled Ice Age Shaman, made for the Smithsonian Museum, in the series Mystic Britain, talking about Neolithic arctic deer shamanism. She is currently finishing up her fourth book, about the pre-Christian spirituality of The Netherlands and Low Countries. She has already started her fifth book: about the runes of the Futhark/Uthark. In response to the 2020 pandemic she has opened an on-line school, called Pregnant Hag Teachings, to make more of her classes available on-line.

HEALING THE WITCH WOUND THROUGH ART (2 March 2021)

Sacred Art Class #4 (Foundation Level, OPEN TO ALL)

This class was created in response to a request from a long-term student. Could we explore the 'Witch Wound' so many of us carry and how to heal this through making sacred art?

In this class we will build on some material introduced in Class #1: Healing Our Ancestors Through Our Art (10 November 2020)

The recording for the first class remains available. Watching it is a good preparation (but not a requirement!) for enrolling in this class.

Welcome to this work!
